Update: Well I just tried this on my laptop with Feisty and the drivers still work fine. Step 4 has to be changed to libtiff4 and libpng3 but other than that, everything should work. I tried again the next day and the list refreshed, so I was able to install it with this driver. The test page worked out fine, but most of the programs wouldn't print, including xpdf firefox thunderbird and so, ooo would print in A5 setting and be stuck there. The only programs that would print are kpdf (intalled it becouse of this bug) and gedit. Changed it to bjc7000 and it works fine for all the listed programs, at least for now.
